On the 27/8/2002, I took my 8 year old, Grandson to see his first game at Highbury.

I went to the last game at Sunderland, as an old North Bank mate had bought the tickets some time earlier, in anticipation of Arsenal winning the title there.

Arsenal were knocked out of the League Cup 3-2 by Sunderland at Highbury in the 3rd round.

By now, many of my mates had either died or just stopped going to games and I was now picking which games to watch also and only saw Arsenal play;

For the next few seasons I would only go to a game with my Grandson, or to watch Champions League matches.
